His ultimatum to Serbia after the 1914 assassination of his nephew Francis Ferdinand led to outbreak of the War I. Here are two different coins, one from Austria & the other from Hungary, both issued during the first World War, each featuring the same person, namely, Franz Josef, with different text and appearance.
