GEORGIA NOTE 1778 COLLATERAL = FORFEITED TORY ESTATES
Here is a spectacular large size Georgia Continental note (30 Dollars) of May 4, 1778. With sharp printing, full, nearly complete margins, great signatures, bi-color printing etc. created (or more appropriately funded by the confiscation of the estates of British sympathizers).
This 30 Dollars value shows a small portion of the bottom right corner missing, several folds & light bends, but is otherwise in near perfect shape (no holes or tears) with a really sharp wild boar vignette & embossing. Numbered 11191 and signed Thomas Netherclift, William Maxwill, a light version of William Few (Signer of the US Constitution), William O’Bryen (State Treasurer in 1778 & Delegate to Continental Congress the following year) & Nehemiah Wade.
